You’ll enjoy guided walking tours through places like Bangkok’s historic flower market and Phuket Old Town, as well as relaxed walks through Baan Dok Bua village and Chiang Mai’s ancient temples. You’ll also experience boat-based travel, including a traditional long-tail boat journey through Bangkok’s canals and a sea day trip to a nearby island by boat, allowing you to connect with the landscape without relying on road transport.

Vegetarian and vegan options: We ensure that vegetarian and vegan options are always available, with meals chosen from local restaurants that offer fresh, plant-based Thai dishes. Where possible, food is sourced from community-run gardens or markets to reduce food miles. In Baan Dok Bua, you’ll learn about sustainable, organic farming methods and enjoy a home-cooked village lunch made from seasonal ingredients grown in the area. This supports low-impact food systems and highlights Thailand’s plant-forward culinary traditions.

ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE

Culturally respectful tourism: We work with local guides and community hosts throughout your journey to ensure your visits to sacred and historical sites, such as Wat Pho in Bangkok and temples in Ayutthaya, are respectful and informed. Guides provide insight into cultural practices and environmental significance, allowing you to engage meaningfully with each location without contributing to over-tourism or environmental damage.

Village life and sustainable practices: In Baan Dok Bua, you’ll learn how rural Thai communities live in harmony with nature through organic farming, handicrafts, and traditional practices. You’ll explore how natural materials are used for basket weaving and how local food is cultivated without machinery or chemical input. This supports environmental stewardship and helps preserve traditional, low-impact ways of life. While we don’t use animals for farming during this trip, you will learn how communities integrate environmental knowledge into everyday life.
