This trip is designed to minimise our carbon footprint. By prioritising shared transport where possible and spending much of our time on a boat—our home for the week—we significantly reduce overall carbon emissions. All food on this trip is locally sourced, with vegan options available to further reduce our environmental impact.

We also carefully select airlines that use modern, fuel-efficient aircraft such as the B787 and A350, ensuring every flight contributes to a more sustainable future. Additionally, we exclusively partner with suppliers who have robust sustainable planet policies. These are often independent, family-owned businesses whose commitment to reducing waste, cutting fossil fuel usage, and embracing renewable energy aligns with our values.

Environment and Wildlife
As part of this itinerary, you’ll visit some of the world’s most stunning national parks and reserves. To protect these precious habitats, we remind all our travellers to follow a “leave no trace” policy—everything you carry in must be carried out. Littering not only damages the environment but also poses a threat to wildlife.

Back at our UK office, we lead by example, operating in an environmentally friendly work environment. We’ve significantly reduced paper usage, recycle our waste, and continuously seek innovative ways to reduce our ecological footprint.

With years of experience operating a resort and dive centre in Africa, we’ve witnessed first-hand the transformative power of responsible tourism. Our unwavering commitment lies in empowering local suppliers to uplift their teams, educate themselves, and support their families.

We champion responsible travel by partnering exclusively with local businesses that share our values. Across Africa, we collaborate with lodges that actively protect key habitats and endangered wildlife. In Egypt, our partner is deeply passionate about nurturing talent and providing opportunities for personal and professional growth—not just for his crew, but also for their extended families. His training programme equips local fishermen with skills to become seamen, skippers, chefs, and divers, creating sustainable livelihoods and fostering long-term community development.

Additionally, we work closely with local orphanages and children with disabilities to promote eco-awareness. This includes taking children out to sea to explore the reefs and marine life, inspiring a love for conservation through hands-on experiences.

A key initiative we support is the marine tourism integration project, which provides tangible benefits to local fishermen. This programme rewards fishermen for identifying potential wreck sites and fosters their understanding of conservation. By supplementing their income, it reduces the need for unsustainable fishing practices, creating a positive cycle of environmental stewardship and economic stability.
