Accessibility
BLIND:
We provide tailored and group holidays specifically for the visually impaired community. Every trip is fully accessible, inclusive, and designed to be enriching, with activities adapted to engage the senses. On all of our holidays, we provide trained local guides who have completed comprehensive Visual Awareness Training, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to offer the right level of support at all times. This allows our travellers to enjoy safe, authentic, and stress-free experiences, exploring the world independently while feeling fully supported.
LIMITED MOBILITY:
Our holidays are carefully planned to meet the diverse needs of visually impaired travellers. Support is provided from the moment our clients arrive at their destination until departure, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience. On tailored holidays, assistance is flexible and personalised, depending on each traveller’s level of sight and mobility. On group trips, support is provided by trained guides, with staffing ratios designed to ensure every traveller receives the right level of guidance and attention.
COGNITIVE:
The circumstances of travellers requiring additional support are assessed individually, and we do our utmost to accommodate their needs, to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience throughout the holiday.

CARBON REDUCTIONHuman-powered transport: Vienna is a city best experienced at a gentle pace. During our time here, we’ll explore the historic streets, elegant squares, and grand boulevards on guided walks, allowing you to feel the changing textures of cobblestones, smooth pavements, and ornate architecture around you. Hear the clip-clop of horse-drawn carriages, the soft ring of passing trams, and the lively buzz of Viennese cafés. Where possible, we’ll also enjoy a short boat trip on the Danube, offering a different sensory perspective of the city from the water.
Vegetarian and vegan options: Vienna is increasingly recognised for its plant-based dining scene, alongside its traditional cuisine. Throughout the trip, we ensure vegetarian and vegan options are available by visiting cafés, markets, and restaurants offering meat-free dishes. During a hands-on cooking experience, you’ll prepare and taste Austrian recipes adapted for all diets, enjoying the rich aromas, textures, and flavours of Vienna’s culinary heritage.
ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE
Heritage and culture: Vienna’s heritage combines imperial grandeur with vibrant local traditions. From world-famous landmarks like Schönbrunn Palace and St. Stephen’s Cathedral to artisan workshops specialising in crafts such as glassmaking and confectionery, you’ll be able to touch, hear, and experience the textures and stories of the city. By choosing sustainable experiences and venues, our visits contribute to the preservation of Vienna’s cultural treasures for future generations.
Urban wildlife and environment: Vienna is a surprisingly green city, with parks, gardens, and the banks of the Danube providing habitats for wildlife. While exploring, you may hear the songs of blackbirds and nightingales, notice ducks and swans along the river, or feel the shade of ancient trees in the Prater park. Our guides highlight the balance between the city’s natural and cultural environment, showing how both are carefully protected and celebrated.

LOCAL ECONOMYWe pride ourselves on engaging local guides for all our trips. In Vienna, this includes guided walks through historic districts, visits to artisan workshops, and exploring bustling markets and traditional coffeehouses. Along the way, you will experience the textures of elegant pavements and cobblestones, hear the gentle sounds of trams passing by, and enjoy the aromas of freshly baked pastries, roasted coffee, and local delicacies. These experiences allow for a deeper connection with Vienna’s unique culture and heritage.
Following our ethos of Responsible Tourism, we are passionate about supporting local businesses and community projects. During our stay, you will meet artisans and learn about traditional crafts such as glassmaking, confectionery, or handmade textiles, gaining an appreciation of how these skills have been preserved and continue to provide livelihoods today.
EMPLOYMENT, INCLUSIVITY AND DIVERSITY
As an inclusive employer, we are proud of our diverse and welcoming workforce, which includes visually impaired staff members. Our focus is to provide both Tailored and Group trips for the visually impaired community, while fostering an inclusive environment for all, regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, ability, or sexual orientation.
Our trips are carefully designed to cater to a wide range of needs, including physical or sensory impairments. Assistance is available from the moment a client arrives at the destination until departure. On Tailored holidays, support is provided as much or as little as required depending on individual levels of sight and mobility. On Group trips, support is generally provided at a ratio of one guide for every two clients, according to personal needs. Situations requiring additional support, such as personal care or help during meal times, are assessed individually, and we always do our utmost to ensure every traveller feels supported, included, and cared for.
